In May, we took part in the "Wings Festival" at Haren prison.
It was a showcase moment for participants to present their talents in theatre, dance, spoken word, and more.
Together with a group of clients, we created an exhibition featuring drawings, paintings, and our own interpretation of stained glass windows.
We recently welcomed a group of social work students from Odisee University of Applied Sciences for an inspiring information session.
We shared with them the work Morpho is doing in Brussels prisons.
The students also got to know the work of our partners, Hubbie and Nido vzw.
Together, we showed how collaboration in the field can lead to inclusive care, meaningful daily activities, and restorative support — even within prison walls.
We hope this session gave them insight into how social workers can make a real difference, even in the most unexpected places.
